Karla J. Gipson is a wife, mother, Christian, and Nurse Practitioner living life and loving every moment. Karla is a Shreveport native with one amazing husband, two beautiful daughters, and a handsome grandson. She is certified in mental health and primary care and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2004 from Northwestern State University, her Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) in 2017 from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and a Post Master's certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health in 2022 from McNeese State University. 

I aim to raise awareness of health disparities and inspire others to reach their dreams, no matter where they come from. I am passionate about giving back to the community. My goal is to continue to help others achieve their highest potential through mental, physical, and emotional empowerment!
